Land x Launch™ ANZ 2026.
A structured market-entry pathway connecting global agtech with New Zealand farms In partnership with Farmers2Founders and Agri+Food Futures.
Connecting global agtech with real-world farm validation
Farm Innovation Network (FIN) is supporting the launch of the 2026 Land x Launch™ ANZ programme, building on its involvement in the successful 2025 New Zealand pilot delivered alongside Farmers2Founders, Agrifood Futures and Agnition Ventures.
Land x Launch™ ANZ provides a partnership-led pathway for global agtech innovators to validate and scale across Australia and New Zealand, with FIN leading New Zealand farm recruitment and structured pilot delivery.
Programme oveview
Land x Launch™ ANZ is designed to bridge international agtech innovation with commercial farm systems across Australia and New Zealand.
For New Zealand, FIN ensures selected global technologies are matched with suitable farms for structured validation under real operating conditions. This is not speculative product exposure. It is coordinated, farmer-connected market entry, grounded in commercial outcomes.
Building on the momentum of the 2025 pilot, the 2026 programme strengthens New Zealand’s position as a credible proving ground for globally competitive agtech.
New Zealand operates one of the most commercially disciplined, pasture-based agricultural systems in the world.
Export-focused production, regulatory scrutiny and performance-driven farm management create a demanding validation environment. Technologies that perform here demonstrate measurable value under real system pressure.
Our counter-seasonal alignment with northern hemisphere markets also enables continuous development momentum for international companies, allowing refinement and redeployment without seasonal delay.
For innovators seeking credible proof points, New Zealand offers practical validation. For farmers, it provides early access to technologies shaped for performance and resilience.
The 2025 Land x Launch™ New Zealand pilot demonstrated the strength of structured, farmer-connected market entry.
Five international innovators from the United States, Israel, Germany and Argentina engaged directly with New Zealand farms and industry stakeholders.
Outcomes included:
- Commercial on-farm trials progressing into 2026
- Industry partnership agreements
- Direct investment activity
- Ongoing programme momentum into the 2026 ANZ cohort.
These results reinforced New Zealand’s role not simply as a test market, but as an active partner in global agritech advancement.
Participating farms gain early access to internationally backed technologies designed to address real system pressures, from emissions and compliance to labour efficiency, animal health and productivity.
These are structured pilots supported by a defined programme framework, not speculative product testing. Innovators are selected through a competitive Land x Launch™ process and supported through coordinated delivery in New Zealand.
Farmers involved in the programme are not passive trial sites. They contribute directly to shaping technologies that may influence global food production systems, while positioning their own businesses at the forefront of innovation.
Farm Innovation Network is the New Zealand farm recruitment and pilot facilitation partner for Land x Launch™ ANZ.
FIN will:
- Identify technologies relevant to New Zealand farm systems
- Match innovators with appropriate dairy, livestock, arable and mixed farms
- Facilitate introductions and pilot coordination
- Support structured trial implementation
- Act as the New Zealand point of contact throughout delivery.
Technologies are filtered and assessed by experts in agriculture, agronomy and agtech innovation before progressing into farm deployment.
FIN ensures pilots are aligned to practical farm realities, measurable outcomes and farmer experience.
Participating farms gain early access to globally competitive technologies screened and selected by sector experts.
Farms involved in Land x Launch™ ANZ receive:
- Early visibility of international agtech entering the region
- Structured pilot support and coordination through FIN
- Direct engagement with global innovators
- The opportunity to influence product development for New Zealand conditions.
This puts your farm in the lead for new ideas while making sure every dollar spent is tracked and justified.
Land x Launch™ ANZ creates an integrated pathway across Australia and New Zealand.
Delivered by Farmers2Founders and Agrifood Futures in partnership with Agnition Ventures, the programme connects innovators from around the world into two advanced agricultural markets through a single structured entry process.
For New Zealand, FIN ensures that engagement translates into meaningful on-farm validation, sector connection and long-term commercial opportunity.
This is not a one-off activation. It is a scalable innovation corridor designed to strengthen global collaboration and regional capability.
How the programme works
Land x Launch™ ANZ is a structured, cohort-based market entry programme.
Global agritech innovators apply through the official Land x Launch™ ANZ channel. Following expert assessment, selected companies join the 2026 cohort based on commercial readiness and relevance across:
- Herd performance and livestock resilience
- Pasture performance, soil fertility and management
- Dairy systems innovation
- Arable and grains technology
- Climate resilience and sustainable production
Within New Zealand, FIN connects and matches suitable pilot farms aligned to defined objectives and system requirements.
Each engagement is structured around agreed validation outcomes, with coordinated introductions, trial facilitation and ongoing oversight.
Applications for cohort one of the 2026 programme close on 29 March 2026.
Further programme updates and confirmed pilot technologies will be announced as the cohort is finalised.
