Clever mapping technology from CarbonCrop has helped Taranaki dairy farmer Hayden Lawrence get a handle on what trees exist on his farm and identify future opportunities for planting – and the potential revenue it might generate.
Lawrence took part in a pilot facilitated by the Farm Innovation Network (FIN). FIN is part of Ravensdown’s innovation arm, Agnition, and scouts the best in new and emerging technology in New Zealand and globally, matching it with Kiwi farmers keen to test practical application on farm.
